Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Beys ("Service"), operated by Beys Technologies Ltd. By creating an account or making an API call, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18+, legally able to contract, and operating a lawful business registered or recognised in Tanzania or your local jurisdiction. Prohibited businesses include firearms, unlicensed financial services, and adult content involving minors.
2. Account and security
You are responsible for safeguarding your API secrets. Rotate keys via the dashboard if compromised. You must notify security@beys.co.tz within 24h of any suspected breach.
3. Fees
Per the pricing schedule on our landing page. Fees are deducted at settlement and are quoted in both TZS and USD depending on transaction currency. Chargebacks incur a TSh 35,000 (or $15) fee plus the disputed amount.
4. Settlement
Funds settle to your linked bank account or mobile-money wallet per your configured schedule (instant, daily, or weekly).
5. Acceptable use
No fraud, no money laundering, no evasion of sanctions, no testing on real cards you don't own. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
6. Uptime SLA
99.99% on Starter/Growth, 99.999% on Enterprise. Credits are issued automatically per the SLA.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beys' aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate with 30 days' notice. Upon termination, you may export transaction data for 90 days.
9. Governing law
The laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dar es Salaam.
